About the role
Payward, the parent company behind Kraken, has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry. Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe.
Kraken Pro is where serious traders live. We are seeking a chronically online Copywriter to give Kraken Pro its voice and build a meaningful, engaged community. This role demands a razor-sharp ear for language, a deep understanding of trading culture, and a self-starter attitude.
What you'll do
- Craft punchy, high-impact messaging across campaigns, landing pages, emails, in-app experiences, paid ads, and social.
- Capture the voice of CT, FinTwit, and the trading floor, knowing when to be witty and when to be direct.
- Shape the narrative for new product drops and feature releases, turning technical updates into clear, compelling stories.
- Help build and protect the Kraken Pro tone of voice across every touchpoint.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, Growth, and Social to brief, iterate, and ship copy.
- Run copy experiments, track performance, and iterate based on data.
- Partner with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years in copywriting or content, ideally in fintech, crypto, or trading.
- A portfolio of copy that moved people to act.
- Ability to work at speed under pressure.
- High AI competency to multiply impact and keep up with demand.
- Versatility across headlines, long-form, microcopy, scripts, threads, and email flows.
- Deep familiarity with crypto and trading culture and the language traders use.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Creative and detail-oriented with the ability to work in Figma or mock up ideas.
