About the role
Modash is building a suite of tools that help brands scale partnerships with online content creators. Founded in 2018, the company serves over 2,700 customers including Stanley 1913, Sennheiser, and NordVPN. We are a remote-first company of nearly 100 people across 20+ countries, operating with a fast, async-first culture.
As a Senior Product Engineer, you will help turn messy customer problems into simple, useful products. You will join a team of around 20 engineers across four product teams, working across the stack to own outcomes end to end. This isn't a ticket factory; you'll stay accountable for whether solutions actually work for users.
What you'll do
- Turn customer pain into product decisions by understanding user goals and simplest useful solutions.
- Take work from problem to production by shaping the approach, designing the system, building across the stack, and measuring outcomes.
- Build across deep product surfaces including discovery, CRM, campaigns, and creator payments.
- Raise the quality of decisions by challenging assumptions, giving feedback, and helping the team move forward.
What they're looking for
- Experience building products that real users depend on with a focus on reliability and impact.
- Deep backend expertise in designing and debugging production services, APIs, data models, and asynchronous workflows.
- Ability to work across the stack including frontend, backend, infrastructure, and product decisions.
- Proven ability to own ambiguous problems and create clarity without detailed specifications.
- Proficiency with LLMs as an engineering tool to prototype, investigate, and debug.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Vue.js.
Nice to have
- Experience with data-heavy systems or complex workflows.
- Background in integrations, automation, marketplaces, e-commerce, or marketing tools.
- Experience in the creator economy.

The hot takeJeff's read on Modash
Modash has an insane careers page, including two words in 1,239 font size. Jokes aside, it feels very employee-first with three videos of the people on company retreats. They have a 4.5 on Glassdoor, a clear WFA remote policy, paid retreats, unlimited PTO, and learning benefits.
