About the role
At TradeFill in partnership with Railsware Product Studio, we build products that people love. You may know Railsware from building TradeZella, Calendly, ParentSquare, Mailtrap.io, Coupler.io, or TitanApps.io — tools that quietly serve millions of people.
We're building a trading product from the ground up and looking for a Product Lead who is both an active trader and an experienced product manager.
This role is part of a small, founder-led team building in the trading space, joining Yaroslav Lazor — product & engineering — and Umar Ashraf — product, markets & distribution. It's a tight team. Your decisions carry real weight.
What you'll do
- Contribute to and own the end-to-end product vision.
- Communicate that vision clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Transform strategy into a prioritized product roadmap.
- Prepare a billing model aligned with revenue and profitability goals.
- Lead product ideation and prototyping, channeling that into discovery sessions.
- Conduct customer development activities, including direct calls with traders and potential users.
- Run market research and competitive analysis.
- Define and scope features for development.
- Lead the development process using Agile methodology.
- Carry out proactive risk management and troubleshooting.
- AI-driven prototypes, mockups, wireframes.
- Collaborate with a product designer to implement current UI/UX best practices.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years in Product Management.
- Hands-on experience shipping SaaS products — B2C (end-user focus) and B2B (understanding sales workflows and processes).
- Demonstrated ability to own and communicate end-to-end product vision.
- Experience with PDM frameworks, product analytics, and product design tools.
- Experience running customer development and market research independently.
- Experience delivering software products in the US and/or EU markets.
- Active trading experience in any market — futures, stocks, crypto, forex, or similar.
- Day trading, scalping, and/or swing trading experience.
- Technical background — you understand high-level architecture, can work directly with engineers, and don't need others to interpret technical constraints.
- AI fluency: you use AI actively across research, prototyping, analysis, and decision-making.
- Comfortable working with data independently: SQL or equivalent ability to run ad-hoc product analysis without always needing a data analyst.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
Nice to have
- Experience in product at a broker, trading platform, or fintech.
- Experience defining and executing go-to-market strategy.
- Engineering background.
- Public speaking or content creation.

The hot takeJeff's read on Railsware
I'm a sucker for a public-facing employee handbook, and Railsware has an absolute doozy. And for the love of god can companies start telling me WHY I should be applying to work for you? Sell yourself, please! Here's some good reasons from Railsware:
🔌 Tech stipend: "When joining the team, we would ask you to use our secure hardware only. No worries, it’s going to be great new items, you can choose yourself."
💪 Health and wellness: "Good health is a key element of an active lifestyle. Railsware helps you maintain it with an extra budget you can spend on what is best for your health at the moment. Be it a meditation app subscription, gym membership, or a yoga mat – all included."
📚 Learning budget: "At Railsware, we don’t tell you how or what to learn. You get a dedicated sum that you can use to participate in conferences, visit workshops or take courses of your choice."
