    About the role

MailerLite is one of the fastest-growing email marketing services, helping more than 1 million businesses around the world stay in touch with their customers. We are a team of more than 170 dreamers, adventurers, and world travellers.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Email Marketing Specialist to join our SEO & Content Team and push our email marketing to a level that our customers, and the wider email marketing community, look up to.

    What you'll do

    • Manage all email campaigns from creation and writing to launch, measurement and optimization.
    • Build nurture automations to turn prospects into customers and ensure existing automations are up to date.
    • Own lead magnets end to end: come up with new ones, write the copy or brief writers, and keep existing ones accurate and up to date.
    • Identify opportunities to grow our email list. Build forms, pop-ups and landing pages that turn visitors into subscribers.
    • Keep MailerLite accounts organized and up to date. Build segmentation and interest groups, and tailor messaging, tone and cadence to different audience segments and industries.
    • Partner with writers to brief and produce blog content. Review and improve existing email-marketing content, and push into more advanced topics.
    • Go after original, underexplored angles on email marketing novel enough to earn citations from LLMs and attention from search engines.
    • Measure email marketing performance and define KPIs. Analyze campaign performance and suggest and implement improvements.
    • Keep sending practices aligned with deliverability standards and industry best practices.
    • Stay immersed in the email marketing world, including new features, research, trends and community chatter, and turn what you learn into content and strategy.
    • Coordinate with the Email Lifecycle Manager so marketing and product/lifecycle email stay consistent without overlapping: own list growth, segmentation strategy and campaign/newsletter content, while they own product-side flows.

    What they're looking for

    • 4+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing.
    • A strong writing portfolio showing newsletters or campaigns you've personally written that performed well.
    • Proven experience growing an email list organically, building segmentation, and creating lead magnets.
    • A sharp editorial eye: you can review other people's content and make it meaningfully better.
    • Genuine, ongoing curiosity about email marketing: you follow the space, test new approaches, and have your own point of view.
    • Comfortable both writing hands-on and briefing others: some execution will be supported by the writer team, but you'll personally cover every newsletter and campaign.
    • Experience with MailerLite or other ESPs.
    • 4 hours of overlap with CET during standard working hours.

    Nice to have

    • Experience in a SaaS company where email was a core growth channel.

The hot takeJeff's read on Mailerlite

MailerLite has downloaded my brain, extracted everything we know about creating a perfect careers page that emphasizes taking an employee-first approach, and published it. Seriously, everything is perfect. Oh, and of course they have an employee map, which really fires me up. We recommend that every company publishes the perks and benefits they offer employees - MailerLite has published an entire page dedicated to their P&Bs. You're over-delivering, big time. There are so many great policies in here that we want to share, but honestly I would have to copy/paste the entire page.

Pulled from their careers page on Oct 16, 2026. Listings change; the company's page is the source of truth.
