As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and support scalable software components and services that turn product ideas into reliable customer experiences. You will take ownership of meaningful engineering projects, solve complex technical problems, and contribute to systems that power Motive’s platform.
What you'll do
- Design and implement secure, maintainable, and scalable software components and services.
- Develop APIs and systems that support product features and integrations.
- Identify root causes, resolve technical issues, and improve system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, monitoring, debugging, and production support.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Ruby, Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience building reliable, maintainable software using scalable architecture and data models.
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Authorization to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
